CODA (Citizens Opposed to Domestic Abuse) in Beaufort, SC, is seeking a full time coordinator of victim services. This position ensures a coordinated response to assist victims of domestic violence who seek CODA’s services through program development, staff supervision, community relations and service provision.
The coordinator of victim services is responsible for overseeing adult and children's counseling services and legal services provided on-site at an emergency shelter and on an outreach basis throughout a four county area. Additionally, this position provides staff supervision, participates in program development, does statistical and grants reporting and acts as a member of a management team. Public speaking and the ability to build cooperative and collaborative relationships are required.
Applicant must have: a Masters in Social Work or a MSW/JD; at least 3 years counseling and supervisory experience; excellent written and verbal communication skills; valid driver’s license and willingness to travel; strong computer skills, and; sensitivity to the issue of domestic violence.
