WELCOME TO CHILDREN'S LAW CENTER The Children's Law Center is a resource center for South Carolina professionals who are involved in child maltreatment or juvenile justice court proceedings.

Our Mission To shift the responsibility for preventing child sexual abuse from children to adults. To reduce child sexual abuse nationally through education and public awareness aimed at adults. To provide adults with information to prevent, recognize and react responsibly to child sexual abuse.

Foothills Alliance offers prevention, intervention, and support services to survivors of sexual assault and child sexual abuse. We serve Anderson and Oconee Counties. Our services are FREE to the public.

Attorney General Henry McMaster has named domestic violence as the number one crime problem in South Carolina. More than 36,000 victims annually report a domestic violence incident to law enforcement agencies around the state. Over the past eight years, an average of thirty-eight (38) women have been killed each year by their intimate partner.

My Sister's House provides safe shelter to victims of domestic violence and their children throughout the Tri-County area. Women who are in immediate danger from verbal, emotional, physical or sexual abuse are eligible for services offered by My Sister's House, Inc. at no charge.

Safe Harbor, Inc. is a private, non-profit agency founded in 1994 specifically to provide services to victims of domestic violence and their children in Greenville, Oconee, Pickens & Anderson counties.

The South Carolina Department of Alcohol and Other Drug Abuse Services (DAODAS) is the cabinet-level agency charged with ensuring the provision of quality services to prevent or reduce the negative consequences of substance use and addictions.

The Rape Crisis Center, with offices in Myrtle Beach and Georgetown, South Carolina, provides a 24-hour hotline to address the needs of those who have experienced sexual victimization. Staff advocates offer crisis intervention, emotional support, and information and referrals to survivors and their loved ones. The Center provides community education programs, short-term counseling, therapist-facilitated support groups, and special events to promote a creative means of healing. Our services are free and confidential and available regardless of whether the victimization occurred several hours or many years ago.
